The aim of this collaboration project is to contribute to effective (transboundary) water governance and management in the Nile basin by strengthening and sustaining networks of academics in the Nile basin, through a structural and long term regional exchange program for MSc students. It builds on, strengthens, and complements, the networks and activities of the NBCBN Foundation, of which the executive headquarters is located in Cairo. These activities contribute to the long term vision to building mutual trust, discussing mutual challenges and possible solutions, on joint water management in the Nile basin. This project will be funded by the Netherlands Embassy in Egypt.
